Glenogle Court Residents Association (GCRA)

This document sets out how the Glenogle Court Residents Association (GCRA) collects, uses, and protects information shared by its members and users of the website.

 

What personal data does the GCRA collect?

 

GCRA maintains a register of its members. The collected data is kept to a minimum level which is necessary for fulfilling GCRA’s duties. This includes names, addresses, email addresses. GCRA’s website may use cookies.

 

Where does this data come from?

 

Members of the Association share and update their own contact details. It is also possible that a member provides details of the new member when the former is selling their property to the latter. GCRA may also use and store the data available on the Scottish Landlord Register.

 

Who is your data shared with?

 

The collected data will not be shared with third parties unless we are required by law to do so. Members of the GCRA Committee have access to the collected data to fulfil the GCRA’s duties.

 

How is your data stored?

 

Members’ data is stored digitally which is accessible only by the GCRA Treasurers and Scretaries. GCRA may use widely used online data storage platforms.

 

How can you ask for data to be corrected or removed?

 

Members are encouraged to update their contact details. This can be done either by sending a message to GCRA on its website, or by sending an email to: treasurer.gcra@hotmail.co.uk We only keep personal data for as long as it is needed. You may request your details to be removed when you sell your property within the Glenogle Court. If you wish to exercise any of your rights regarding the data we hold about you, please contact the Secretary of the Association at secretary.gcra@hotmail.co.uk.
