Notice Convening the Annual General Meeting of the Glenogle Residents Association
on Tuesday 17th November 2026, 7pm
The GCRA AGM will be held in the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Club at 1 Broughton Road, Edinburgh EH7 4EW on Tuesday 17th November 2026 starting at 19.00 hours.
We do hope you will be able to join us and hear what we have been doing over the past year and discuss our plans for the future of our Association. According to our Constitution we are here, not only to look after the common lands of our estate, but to promote and develop the common interests of the residents in and the owners of the properties situated at Glenogle Court. This includes encouraging the preservation and improvement of the amenity of Glenogle Court and encouraging and promoting social and recreational activity among the residents. As a Committee we do our best to meet these aims but we need your help and support for all that we do.
Agenda Items
The Calling papers for the AGM will go out three weeks before the meeting and if you have any motions you wish added to the Agenda for the meeting please let us have details by Friday 23rd Octoberber 2026.
New Secretary Needed
Unfortunately, due to ill health, I am having to submit my resignation as Secretary of the Association, although I am happy to continue on the Committee. Any nominations for this position should also be submitted to the Committee by Friday 23rd October 2026. To find out more about what the role involves, email: secretary.gcra@hotmail.co.uk

Pub Quiz Outings
Some of the residents have started going to local pub quizes, at the Orchard Pub and the One Cannon pub so far. Everyone welcome, check back here or keep an eye on the notice board to find out when the next one is if interested!
Coffee Mornings
Every (or most) Friday mornings, at 10.30am, some of the residents meet up for some coffee, biscuits and chat at the table in the communal area by the car park off Liddesdale Place. All welcome. Come along and meet some neighbours!
